Selection Process:
Viva-voce /Interview will be held for selecting the candidates for the post of Dental Surgeon OR If applications are received in large numbers, the Board may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms of advertisement. OR By holding Screening test (Multiple choice objective type written examination) which will be notified in due course of time.
1. Post Name: 71 (seventy one) posts of Dental Surgeons
2 .Scale of pay: PB-4: 30000 - 110000/- + GP of Rs.12700/- pm and other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
3. Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification is BDS Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI) and Registered Dentist of Assam State Dental Council
Age: A candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age, as on 01/01/2018. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved category as per existing provision.
Application Fee: Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) only for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidate.
